This Teen and Youth Guided Journal was created as a safe space for young people to express their thoughts, understand their feelings, build confidence, and dream about what is possible for their future.
The opening page reminds the reader: “This journal is for you. A safe space to express your thoughts and feelings. Write down your dreams and know that they are possible!”
Inside, teens and youth are guided through simple emotional check-ins, writing prompts, goal-setting pages, self-reflection activities, and freewriting space. Many pages ask “How do you feel today?” with easy-to-understand options like Awesome, Good, Okay, Not good, and Horrible, helping young people name their emotions and check in with themselves in a healthy way.
This journal includes prompts that encourage youth to notice good moments, write about someone they look up to, list their top goals for the next school year, name steps toward those goals, reflect on life goals, write about favorite memories, and practice affirmations like “Today I trust myself,” “Today I believe in myself,” and “Today I feel worthy.”
The playful cover design, with colorful emotion characters, gears, a heart, and “think different” / “brainstorm” graphics, gives the journal a creative and youth-friendly feel. It is a strong fit for teens and tweens who are learning how to process emotions, plan for the future, think differently, and discover who they are becoming.
Created by Strength Through Grace Studio, this journal is more than a notebook. It is a tool for emotional wellness, confidence-building, self-expression, goal planning, and personal growth.
It can be used at home, in school, in mentoring programs, youth groups, wellness workshops, community programs, counseling spaces, or as a personal reflection journal.
